Last Saturday we went with Carolin and Scott to Weaver and Devore. Mission: buying ourselves a parka and boots. Snow / windpants we’ll buy later. But with the temperatures dropping by the day, we wanted to be prepared and winterized. Our mission was partially successfull: we both got a parka and I found myself a nice pair of boots, which have a -75 C rating. Judith found a pair as well, but she has to wait until they are available in her shoe size. After that we went out for dinner at the Vietnamese Noodlehouse.
On Sunday we took our parkas out for a walk. We’ll share some pictures with you below. Enjoy! Oh, and to be clear: yes that is real fur, yes our parkas are filled with real (Canadian) goose down and yes, you need that here.
